I sculpt forms in a closed shape. A body shape, empty but... which carries so much inside... pictures, memories, words.

Afsaneh handbuilt her high fragile forms. The surfaces are slippainted within a technique called "Photocopy Monoprints". The sculptures knobbly bodies are modelled from scraps of thin clay mixed with paper.

"The Fourth Dimension"

The sculptures are handmade, from many small, thick and flat pieces of clay put together in a form of a body. These small pieces of clay are covered by photocopies pictures of my own paintings.
